Overview | Ghost Recon |
---|
The M136 AT4 can be selected as a secondary weapon for the Demo class. Appears as "M136" in the game.
The M136 is a disposable recoilless weapons system that fires an 84mm HEAT (High Explosive Anti-Tank) rocket capable of destroying light armored vehicles. The HEAT round is capable of penetrating 420mm of armor. In addition to the HEAT round, the M136 is capable of firing a HP (High Penetration) round that is capable of penetrating up to 600mm of armor, which is sufficient to penetrate the armor of most main battle tanks. The M136 available to the Ghosts normally has no scope but is equipped with a scope to allow soldiers to zoom in their targets in Jungle Storm. (And potentially other console versions.)
The M136 is the only weapon with a changing ammo count in Ghost Recon, Regular Demolitions Ghosts will carry 3 rockets in the Base Game/Island Thunder but if Desert Siege is enabled or (even with Island Thunder active after it.), then all Ghosts carry 4 rockets. (And 4 as well in the PS2 exclusive Jungle Strorm.)
Nigel in GR1 with no expansions will carry 4 rockets despite generic Demolitions soldiers carrying 3.
