The Assault class is designed to be just that: the tip of the spear, leading the assault on the front lines. They draw the enemy's attention while teammates flank and engage them from different angles. Assault specializes in absorbing damage without sustaining injuries, and laying down constant suppressing fire on an enemy position. No other class has the survivability of the Assault, thanks to their ability to gain health from every kill made while their class technique is active. Ideally operating from mid- to close-ranges, Assault Rifles and Shotguns are an excellent choice. Consider equipping an Underbarrel Grenade Launcher to your Assault Rifle for taking out groups of enemies or incoming reinforcements, and remove all suppressors to maximize your damage.
If you see a large group of enemies nearby, Gas Grenades allow you to cordon off the area, forcing them to either retreat or walk through toxic fumes.

Class Item - Gas Grenade[]
Assault Players gain access to a area denial Gas Grenade, which has a far larger radius than the Frag Grenade but will not kill most enemies instantly requiring the enemy to be low health or stay in the gas for a few seconds, however they have no detonation time beyond the initial throw.
Class Bonuses[]
Assaults gain bonuses:
- Resilience - increased health and +10% Injury resistance (+50 (One full Bar) and stacks with the Field Medic's Medkit).
- Assault Proficiency - +10 Accuracy and +10 Mobility to +20 on both respectively when using ARs or Shotguns.
Class Technique - True Grit[]
- Charged by killing enemies and damaging drones, explosive kills and close range kills.
- Does have a small activation time before you gain the effects and can fire/Aim down sights.

Every level grants a skill point up to 10, you start at level 1.
