Built by Skell Technology in a secure area of the highlands, this high-tech settlement's purpose is to study the weather and produce weather forecasts. Before Sentinel Corp. gained control of Auroa, a team of meteorologists was working 24 hours a day here. They checked the information received from climate sensors dispatched across the archipelago and out into the ocean. The settlement is full of electronics, computers, communication systems, and large screens, permanently displaying barometric maps.
Since the coup, some Sentinel soldiers have been dispatched to this location, both to control the scientists and get the weather forecasts to Sentinel Corp. headquarters. Sentinel Corp. soldeirs have begun squatting in some rooms in the settlement.
Each of the subsidiaries of Skell Technology have their own R&D centers, prototyping workshops, and test areas. So, the archipelago has five R&D centers dedicated to the conception of civilian and security drones, autonomous vehicles, and connected houses and towns. The research also focuses on the archipelago itself. Flora and fauna are studied with great attention, as well s the volcanic activity and the climate. These studies are performed in order to ensure the safety of the population and to prevent natural disasters.
