Channels Research and Developement Center is a drone networking and integration facility and a major scientific military installation in charge of the top secret CLAW project, overseen by the Strategist. It is located in the Channels province in the Auroa Archipelago.
The installation has been built in a fjord into to the Leviathan Island.
Most of the installation is underground, with at least one location accessed through an elevator on top of the western ridge.
A platform used for testing the CLAW drones is located underneath a control room, where the Strategist is able to oversee and control the drones.
The facility is used by Leon Fairrow as his main headquarters during Operation Citadel.
The facility is heavily protected by four SAM launchers and patrols of Sentinel guards. Important office building in the center of the facility are protected by laser grids.
A hidden passage can be accessed on the northern side of the site just beside the channel, protected by laser grids. A ladder leads right into the heart of the facility.
