“ Rangers lead the way! - Sykes recalling the Army Rangers' motto during aerial extraction”
Daniel Sykes is a former U.S. Army Ranger and currently an officer of the Central Intelligence Agency who was assigned to investigate enemy activity in Nigeria.
History[]
Prior to his Niger Delta deployment, Sykes had been with the Special Activities Division for a while and expert in capture and interrogation. During mission, he was captured by members of the corrupt private military company, Watchgate Security Service, and subsequently rescued by a Ghost Recon team. Sykes had hidden intelligence in his vehicle, but was ordered to evacuate. Hunter Team subsequently recovered his intelligence while Sykes was airlifted to Ramstein Air Base before going home. In exchange, he had provided the Ghosts with critical intelligence data.
He highly recommended the Ghosts to a fellow agent, Karen Bowman, when it came to black operations.
