The Field Medic's playstyle is centered around supporting their unit. Their lack of direct combat advantages are more than made up for by survivability that they bring to the team. Medics operate best from mid-range in most engagements - this allows a good deal of flexibility in positioning, while keeping close enough to teammates to provide assistance when needed. The biggest advantage the Field Medic provides is the Healing Drone. Not only does it allow you to revive downed teammates, but if you're downed while your Class Techniques is fully charged, you'll also have the option of reviving yourself. The Medkit is also an invaluable tool, so anything that increases the amount of Class Items you can carry is of equal importance. The final piece of the puzzle is to maximize your survivability and sprint time, just in case the worst happens and you have to run into enemy sights to manually revive a teammate. The Medic does benefit from a lot of additional survivability while carrying a teammate; building on that while ensuring that you make it to them in one piece will guarantee that no Ghost is ever left behind.
