A Storm is Coming is an event mission belonging to the Terminator live event in Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint.
Overview[]
“ Maria Schultz has heard about a woman who got arrested after saving Homesteaders from Sentinel drones. - Mission breafing.”
- Go to Erewhon and talk to Maria Schultz. She tells Nomad about a woman who destroyed drones and was captured by Sentinel.
- Go to Sentinel Corp. Land Base in Sinking Country. Find documents or interrogate Sentinel commanders about the whereabouts of the woman. Then, check the prison convoy schedule, it is located in two different buildings.
- A convoy carrying the woman circles around Outpost Red Tiger, Polymorph Modeling and Oleander Station in Smuggler Coves. Intercept the convoy and interrogate someone.
- Go to the Emergency Center. Investigate from anyone who knows about the woman or search any laptops about her (optionally you can just head straight for the room where she is held up in, Sentinel troops can be seen threatening her outside the door to let you know where she is located). You will be granted a psych eval from a Dr. Rosamund Fletcher.
- Head to the room where the woman is held up at. A cutscene plays. Nomad is ambushed by the woman identified as Rasa Aldwin, but he overcomes her quickly. Rasa realizes that Nomad is the one she's looking for. Nomad demands to know from Rasa how she destroyed drones. Rasa reveals she's from the future and has been targeted for termination by a T-800. As she's explaining about the cyborg, it enters into the hospital and tries to open fire on Nomad and Rasa. Nomad shoots at the cyborg, but it simply falls down and gets right back up. Rasa tells Nomad his weapons can't stop it and they escape the room.
- You must escape the hospital and from the T-800. Do not attempt to fight it as it is invulnerable to ordinary firearms and use the Sentinel troops as bait. Rasa tells that she's from one possible future about 40 years into the future from the present and the Terminator was sent back in time by an A.I known as Skynet. She tells that the resistance in the future used weapons developed on Auroa to fight the Terminators and she was building one in her workshop, but she ran out of time before she could finish it.
- Head to the workshop. A patrol of Sentinel troops will be waiting there and sometimes a Wolf patrol might pass nearby. Once they are cleared, enter the building.
- Rasa reveals that she got lucky that the materials she needed to build the weapon existed at the time. She used a 3D printed to make the required parts for the weapon which can kill Terminators. Rasa tells Nomad that she was sent to bring the weapon to him and that there are more than one Terminator on the island. Nomad takes a weapon and tells Rasa to go to a safe place. She says that she's willing to lay down her life to see the mission to the end. Nomad tells that he can take care of it and tells Rasa to go to Erewhon. She agrees. The mission ends.
