The Daily Challenges are a set of tasks that allow players to earn prestige credits (orange-colored currency) through gameplay in Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands. The dailies are available for 24 hours and reset at 10:00 hours UTC (5am EST/2am PST). Any progress is lost at reset, and rewards for any group challenges can only be collected if the player enters the game and successfully connects to Ubisoft's servers after the challenge is completed. One set of dailies will always consist of 3x Solo, 1x Task Force, and 1x Community challenge. Completing all of them will earn the player a total of 1,025 prestige credits per day. For reference, a prestige crate from the Wildlands Store costs 400 prestige credits.
Solo Challenges[]
Solo challenges always come in sets of 3 and reward 800 prestige credits after completion. These challenges must be completed in order of appearance. A solo challenge that is not yet available to start will be readable but slightly greyed out in color.
The first solo challenge always involves performing an action a specified number of times. This typically means that the player must kill or destroy specific targets with a certain weapon or tool.
The second and third solo challenges are always story missions. They require that the player start from a specific safehouse. The player usually must have the game set to a certain difficulty (or higher), and it must be completed with a set of restrictions. These restrictions may involve limited weapon types, not being seen by the enemy, or not dying. The player must pay close attention to these requirements, or they risk failing the challenge and be forced to start again. These challenges always have 2 steps, the first of which is to travel to the starting location. The game will show a pop-up alert when the player has completed any of the steps.
Even though these challenges have "solo" in the title, they can be completed while playing in online co-op campaign mode, as long as the player receives credit. Teammates can complete missions to give the player credit, but any kill/destroy counts using specific weapons and tools must be performed by the player. Also, a player using a higher difficulty will not be disqualified from the challenge requirements, even if teammates are playing on lower difficulties.
Task Force Challenge[]
The Task Force challenges can only be completed through the efforts of members in the same Task Force, which is the Wildland's equivalent of an online gaming clan. The reward for completion is 200 prestige credits. This challenge is like the first Solo challenge in that the players are required to complete certain actions a specified number of times. However, it is a group effort, such that any Task Force member can contribute to the challenge goal. Once completed, a Task Force member simply needs to start Wildlands and wait for the game to connect to Ubisoft's servers in order to receive the reward.
Community Challenge[]
The community challenge is like the Task Force challenge with two important differences: everyone can contribute to the goal, and the goal is always much bigger. The reward for completion is 25 prestige credits.
Normally, this challenge will line up with a popular activity that players are doing anyways, either as part of the normal gameplay loop (e.g. killing certain enemies) or it will match up with one of the solo/Task Force challenges. Usually, the reward for this challenge won't be available until later in the day, after enough community members have had a chance to contribute to the goal.
Daily Challenge Sets[]
The daily challenges are preset--not randomized--in weekly groups of 7 days. Day 1 always start on Monday. There are a total of 6 weeks before the challenges loop back to the beginning and repeat.
