The Flashbang is a special Less-Lethal grenade. The explosive will blind and deafen enemies nearby, removing the HUD and changing the screen to white for a few seconds.
Anyone caught in the blast radius of a Flashbang is rendered completely blind for many seconds. This makes the Scout only deployable a great means for breaching into a new area or confusing an attacking squad, opening them up to fire from your squadmates before they ever have a chance to return fire or find cover.
