Hands Over Bolivia is an Non-governmental organization (NGO) based in Bolivia. Katrine Svendsen, who would later become known as La Gringa, worked for the organization and was able to develop a new vaccine to fight yellow fever. CIA agent Karen Bowman uses the group as a cover. Although initially popular with the people for their efforts, in 2017 the Bolivian government blocked the group from operating there when it became public knowledge that the NGO had accepted money from the U.S. government in exchange for monitoring activities within the country. The subsequent reputation of the organization and its members was ruined.
