Lone Wolf is a main mission of Episode 2 in Ghost Recon Breakpoint DLC Deep State.

Overview[]

Karel Sekulic, a notorious Wolf, manages security for CLAW. He is a primary lead for information about the Strategist.

Note: It is recommended to finish Legal Move first, then Lone Wolf, due to the way the story unfolds and how Lone Wolf can be completed at any time, in order to avoid contradictions.

1. After following Sam's clue about Karel Sekulic, you'll head to Outpost Red Fox at Restricted Area 01, near Blue Lake and the Jace Skell Dam. Sam Fisher contacts Nomad and gives information about Karel on how he is a Wolf commander and handles VIP security for Project CLAW.

2. Head into the camp and find someone to interrogate. A Sentinel soldier tells you that there is a mission schedule that tells the location of the Commander.

3. The schedule is located in a storage building in the camp. It takes takes you to the tip of the Gold Digger Range, just by the dam. Head over there.

4. Sam contacts Nomad and tells that Karel was part of a Russian special operations force called Bodark. Nomad tells him that they were the Ghosts priority target some time ago. Nomad asks Fisher how he was able to figure that information so quickly and he tells that he tasked Victor Coste to find out about the Wolves. Sam tells that Karel attempted to join Coste's PMC force Paladin 9 after defecting from the Russians, but was rejected due to his "laid back" attitude.

5. Head to the location and you will find bodies littered around a house and the big bad wolf himself. Karel explains that she was contacted by Stephanie and he knows she gave Nomad trouble earlier. Karel promises Nomad that he and Stephanie will give everything about CLAW and the Strategist once Nomad helps Karel disappear. Karel wants to quit his way of life and to do so, he planned to stage his death by the Ghosts in a grand operation at the dam and now that Nomad had found him, he is finally able to do so. He tells that there is a body at the dam, where Nomad must place Karel's dogtag and there Nomad finds a radio for communicating between the two.

6. Head to the target location and place the dogtags Karel gave to Nomad at the body and pick up the radio. Karel contacts Nomad to tell him he is watching him from a distance and proceeds to give the next instructions. Hack a laptop to falsify Karel's presence at the dam and disable the failsafe backup generator once the transformers have been destroyed. Note, the hostile forces become alerted once the failsafe has been disabled.

7. Once the set has been completed, destroy the power grid transformers. There are 8 of them. Any will do, but C4 is preferable as you can explode them from a distance undetected. Use both Mark I and II explosives.

8. After the tasks have been completed, Karel tells more about his role within CLAW. He tells that he consulted about special operations tactics, which involved interrogation of Midas, which proved to be difficult. Karel sends the details about him and the Strategist to Nomad, but warns him not to infiltrate the CLAW facility without the full knowledge of the operation. Karel gives a location where he and Stephanie are to meet and he promises that she will give everything she knows about CLAW as well.

9. Go to the rendzevous point at the southwestern part of Seal Islands to an island filled with red flowers and ancient ruins. Nomad contacts Sam to inform him that he wants to hear everything from the meeting.

10. Stephanie tells that she works for Lomax-Ferrow, who are behind the CLAW project. She tells that one of the founders is Michael Lomax, a US senator part of the sub-commitee of defense. Lomax has used tax payer money to fund his own projects such as CLAW. The other founder is Lomax's associate, Farrow or otherwise known as the Strategits, who has used all of the resources granted to them for CLAW. Stephanie suspects that the official who sent the Ghosts is working several steps ahead in the Deep State conspiracy. Karel tells that they will disappear to a safe location despite the island's lockdown and advises Nomad to keep the radio.

Sam isn't happy about the situation and explains that he received the assignment from Central Intelligence Agency just after Operation Citadel. Nomad suspects that someone in the Agency knew about the situation on the island. Sam thinks that he might be set up for a convenient safe extraction of the Strategist. Nomad suspects that the higher ups were afraid about the Ghosts finding out about the deep state conspiracy, hence the failed chopper crashes. Sam wants to continue the mission, but instead of giving Farrow to the CIA, he will hand him to his most trusted contacts. The mission ends.

Karel Sekulic deserted the Wolves and revealed critical information on CLAW and the Strategist's stronghold.
