The MR-B (Modular Rifle-Bullpup) is a bullpup assault rifle employed by the Ghosts in the near future Russian Ultranationalist conflict.
The MR-B fires 5.56mm NATO Depleted Uranium rounds, likely armor piercing rounds similar to their IRL tungsten carbide core counterparts. Features a holographic reflex sight, a titanium bayonet in the form of a hook, a removable bipod and an under-barrel 12 gauge Disputor shotgun. The shotgun magazine might be loaded by the rifle's left side though unknown with the amount of ammo.
A team of the Ghost operators carried them during Operation "Take Down Overlord".
30K carried one during a mission to Chelyabinsk province, Russia.
Trivia
- Although the MR-B is fictitious, it appears to be based on the Magpul PDR, a prototype/concept bullpup compact weapon designed by the same designers as the ACR (Masada) to be a more potent alternative to a submachine gun that would be used primarily by support troops that would normally only carry a pistol. As well as IRL bullpup firearms such as MR-C for the near-realism.
- In the E3 2010 Demo, all the MR-Bs had suppressors that could be optionally added and removed from the barrel. The sniper variant with a removable sniper barrel had a green optic scope that was merged to a holograhic sight (There's the Luminosity word beneath the scope) similar to EOTech's but had a plastic lens cover. The rifle was loaded with 30 rounds of 5.56mm NATO bullets and each Ghost carried 570 more rounds. However, no exact numbers on the Disputor shotgun.
