The M18 Smoke Grenade appears as "Smoke".
The smoke grenade is a type of grenade in used by the United States Army. It is a device used for concealment against other enemies, players or vehicles. After the grenade is thrown a few seconds later that area is covered in a thick smoke that cant be seen through.
You can't hit what you can't see, and the single best means of obscuring basic vision on the battlefield is with smoke. Thick plumes render anyone or anything inside the field near invisible, with only certain scopes that allow for alternate vision modes to peer through the haze. Smoke grenades work equally well on offense or defense, helping to create cover for advancing attackers or hiding the location of defenders.
