Operation Steam Dragon is a mission conducted by Ghost Recon in 2010. It is the second operation during the Colombia conflict against the MFLC. By completing mission, unlocked M16 Assault. Challenge rewards: multiplayer skin, cheat unlocked: Special Forces.
Briefing[]
Intelligence has some interesting news. Apparently, the MFLC likes to play with trains. They're using rail lines across the country to ship their cocaine supplies to secure locations, and they're moving the stuff in bulk. If we can knock out those trains, we can chop the legs out from under the MFLC financially.
Your mission is to investigate an isolated train station southeast of Pasto. Intelligence shows a lot of those drug trains originating from this location. We're still not sure quite where the refinery is, so until we have precise info on where they're producing, we'll have to settle for disrupting their distribution network.
Take a demolitions expert and set demo charges on the south and east boxcars. Taking out the rolling stock and the track underneath should slow their distribution long enough to allow intel to pinpoint their main cocaine production facilities.

- Challenge 04 – Lone Wolf – Complete the mission with only one soldier. You may use the weapon of your choice.
- Challenge 05 – Time Course – Complete the mission with your full team and any weapon in under 1 minutes 50 seconds.
- Challenge 06 – Survival – Complete the mission using a special M9 that kills in one shot. Be carefull – enemies have had their rifles upgraded for the occasion.
