The support class is armed with the M249 SAW (Squad Automatic Weapon), and provide mobile but intense firepower for their squad. They are equipped with heavy armor to help deal with the greater amount of fire they are likely to receive in return. Because of the extra weight they carry around, the support class is also the toughest of the four classes of soldier.
