Sync Shot drones are now separate from the reconnaissance drone; they're a consumable item that must be either found in the wild or crafted after acquiring the Sync Shot drone skill. Each Sync Shot drone is a singular piece of the large Legion drone swarm that is protecting the perimeter of Auroa, but has been disconnected from the network that is controlling them.
Once deployed, Sync Shot drones will hover above their designated target, before simultaneously detonating once the Ghost give the command by opening fire. This small explosion projects its blast towards the target's head and is sufficiently powerful to instantly eliminate most human enemies. Sync Shot drones reposition themselves to stealthily track their targets across any environment.
Note that Sync Shot drones are unable to target hostile drones due to their firmware not recognizing them as valid targets.
