The Predator is a mini-boss introduced in the bonus mission The Jungle Moved that was added in the Title Update 2 on 12/14/17 and delisted on 12/14/20, it takes place in the Caimanes province.
The Predator is armed with a cloaking device and a plasmacaster firing heat seeking projectiles that explodes on impact. It has the largest health pool in the game and is a formidable foe.
Weapons and equipment: Plasmacaster, Wrist blade, Bio-mask, 3 mini Lazers, Plasma Gun and Crosshair Plasma gun. The Plasma gun has a 3 dot red crosshair that follows the target when they move and kills instantly on contact. The best way to dodge the attack is by going behind cover or quicky going prone.
There are no checkmarks on this mission. When you die during the battle, you have to completely restart it.
There are typically two stages to the battle. The first is a game where The Predator will weave through the jungle cloaked, and on occasion will take aim at the character and their allies or will jump into a nearby tree. When uncloaking, a sound will play, helping the character identify when they are in the most danger and helps locate The Predator. If they can't get a good shot on a target, they will throw an explosive. Throughout the fight, The Predator will make noises towards you and can say a few lines of dialogue. The second stage is unlocked when The Predator is low on health. They will stop cloaking themselves to run away but will frequently shoot their Plasmacaster. After you defeat The Predator, you are told you need to confirm its death. When you get close, The Predator will start a self destruct sequence, and you will need to exit the area before it explodes (If you die in the blast, the entire battle will need to be replayed). It is possible from time to time The Predator will repeat the phrase "We can kill it". This is the line the character says when they find The Predator's blood.
