The USS Kings Mountain is an amphibious assault ship of the United States Navy that was active during the 2024 coup instigated by Raven's Rock.
History[]
Prior to and during the coup, the ship served as the floating base of operations for the United States Army's Group for Specialized Tactics Advanced Force Operations Team Hunter.
When the Russian ICBM launched to target the British capital city of London but was destroyed at the last minute by the U.S. missile shield, Major Scott Mitchell was on-board as he was briefing Hunter while giving a review on the video recorded by two civilians. However, the official story was created as "satellite collision" to avoid compromising the real story.
At one point, its Marine Corps contingent prepared to evacuate the U.S. Embassy in Moscow. After former military-turned President Volodin was restored to power, a small celebration party was held on-board.
